Hairy wee coo

I found this guy in the middle of Estonia. Imagine my surprise - a bit of Scotland near my home!

I suspect this is also the first photo from my mobile phone to land on the internet.
PS. I was actually planning to write about my first day at work, but ended up with this. My work, btw., is not very much related to cows - it is on arms trade, civil wars and development in Africa.

Of course cows are related to the arm trade - without cows, people don't get enough milk. Without milk, their bone structure is bad. With bad bone structure, they end up in pain. This then makes them grouchy. Inevitably, some of them find their ways into positions of power, and from there, war develops. Or to put it quickly, without cows, people are moooo-dy. ;)

(Alas, all you get at this hour is bad puns!)

I'm glad you're enjoying the beauty of Oxford.. I quite enjoyed that place as well. I fondly remember this nice bookstore in the shopping area - they had this wonderful cafe which had awesome hot chocolates and a really beautiful and charming woman who worked there. If I were to list those two things in order of importance, the hot chocolate is actually a distant second. ;)

(I'll look forward to hearing about your adventures there!)

On a totally different note, and one I'm surprised I haven't seen you get to yet, I just came across this article and thought you'd be interested:

Hope you are well, my friend! I'd send my wishes that the weather doesn't frustrate you, but I imagine Edinburgh has trained you well to enjoy being wet. :)

With warmest wishes,
- B

Thanks, guys! I doubt I'll give many personal updates on this blog. Tbh. it is already more personal than I would like it to be... But there are other ways to keep in touch with good people. Pilli - I'll see you soon in KL. Saki - I'm not off the grand-world-travel-plans yet - not so easy to stop me, so we'll do smth crazy together again.
Brian, the Russian news is interesting, but not too much of a news, in fact. This kind of comments are so common that they hardly make any ripple in our media.
