An optimistic approach
I don't know where it comes from, but my dad has always asked me this question when I complain too much.
Do you know what's the difference between an optimist and a pessimist? When a pessimist says "It can't get any worse than that!", the optimist replies with a smile "But of course it can!"

It is so nice to see you writing more! With so much to say, I'll need to make good on my promise of an e-mail soon... otherwise I fear this note itself may very well become as long as your postings from the past few days!
So, in short, this is just to say that I hope you're hanging in there, and I'll be crossing my fingers for you with respect to the job search! I like to think that good things come to good people, so I have no doubt you'll find something utterly fantastic. ;)

Haha.. I never forget, I'm just a little slow sometimes. I once sent a letter eleven years late to a dear friend. I promise this one won't take nearly that long, I just have to finish up a few things here first! :-)
